Cookie Policy
1. What these technologies do
A cookie is a small item of information a website or service can store through a browser. Related technologies include local storage, session storage and platform identifiers. They can support a session, remember a choice, help protect a form or, where enabled, support analytics or advertising.
The same browser storage mechanism can be used for different purposes. Its purpose and configuration matter more than its label. This policy therefore describes the functions included in these website sections without presenting an unverified list of every cookie a separate Shopify app might create.
2. Necessary website and security functions
Necessary technologies can support page delivery, security, session handling, fraud or spam prevention and submission of a requested form. Shopify may operate platform cookies and security checks for those functions. A required form verification can involve additional platform resources.
Declining optional cookies does not disable the functions needed to operate the site or preserve a privacy choice. The inquiry form and essential website information should remain available subject to technical security requirements. Blocking every browser storage mechanism at browser level may interfere with functions that depend on them.
3. Privacy choice stored by this website
The custom consent control stores the key pk_privacy_choice_v1 in local storage. It records the selected optional categories, whether the action was Accept, Decline or a custom selection, and the time of that choice. The supplied implementation treats the choice as due for renewal after 180 days.
This record exists to remember and apply the privacy selection; it is not an advertising profile. Clearing browser storage can remove it and cause the notice to appear again. If storage is unavailable or blocked, the selection may not persist across visits even when the current page has processed the choice.
4. Temporary request references
During an inquiry submission, the supplied form may temporarily store a key named pk_pending_reference in session storage. It contains a request reference rather than the full project description or contact details. It is used in the context of the current submission and is removed by the supplied confirmation flow when confirmation is processed.
Session storage normally ends with the relevant browser session, subject to browser behavior such as session restoration. The request details shown in the confirmation summary are held in the current page for that interaction. A reference is a way to help identify a request, not a payment transaction identifier.
5. The website assistant
The content-based assistant processes its questions and website answers in the current browser page. The supplied assistant does not use a persistent chat transcript key, an advertising identifier or an external generative-model request. Its displayed conversation is local to that page session.
Choosing to contact the company transfers the question into the inquiry form where available. The question is sent only when you review and submit that form with the required contact information. The assistant's local operation does not mean the separate hosting and security platform is prevented from processing technical request data.
6. Optional preferences
Optional preference technologies can remember choices such as presentation or other convenience settings that are not strictly required to deliver a requested basic function. The supplied consent control can communicate a preference choice to Shopify's customer privacy mechanism.
The existence of a preference category does not mean this website installs every possible personalization feature. A feature added later must be assessed and configured for its actual purpose. Necessary privacy-choice storage is used to remember consent and is not treated as permission to add unrelated optional personalization.
7. Optional analytics and marketing
Analytics technologies can measure how a site is used. Marketing technologies can support advertising, audience measurement or related targeting. The supplied Parkhurst sections do not add an advertising pixel or an independent analytics script, but the Shopify store can have separate platform or app configuration relevant to these categories.
Optional tools must be configured to respect the applicable consent state. Declining optional technologies is not represented as a technical command that automatically disables every independently installed script regardless of its integration. The site operator must ensure additional apps and pixels use appropriate privacy controls.
8. Accepting or declining optional technologies
The notice offers Preferences, Decline and Accept actions. Preferences opens category controls for optional preferences, analytics and marketing; all optional switches start off for a visitor without a saved selection. Essential functions remain active. Save preferences applies the selected categories, while Decline refuses all optional categories and Accept allows optional categories subject to the Global Privacy Control behavior described below. The supplied control communicates analytics, marketing and preference choices through Shopify's customer privacy functionality when it is available, while recording sale-of-data permission as false. It reports an error if it cannot confirm that the platform choice was applied. The platform records consent after an explicit visitor action; the custom control does not automatically submit a new consent record on each visit. Closing the preferences panel without saving leaves the previous choice unchanged.
A choice made through this control applies to the purposes supported by the configured integration. It is not consent to unrelated processing, a subscription to marketing messages or permission to disclose the contents of an inquiry for advertising. You can change the selection later using Cookie preferences in the footer.
9. Global Privacy Control and other signals
Where the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, the supplied consent code keeps sale-of-data permission false and does not enable its marketing consent setting in response to an optional-cookie acceptance. This is intended to preserve that signal in the settings controlled by this implementation.
Different providers and browsers can implement privacy signals differently. The site operator must check the behavior of additional services and comply with any applicable opt-out obligation. A statement about this code does not certify the configuration of every external app, nor does it replace rights provided by applicable law.
10. Changing settings in your browser
Most browsers allow you to inspect or remove cookies and stored site data and to control whether some technologies are accepted. The relevant options depend on the browser and device. Removing data can also remove a saved privacy choice or interrupt a session.
Browser controls and the website's consent control serve related but different functions. A browser may block storage without changing a preference recorded by a platform, or a site may record a decline while retaining necessary storage. Review both if you want to understand the result on a particular device.
11. Additional providers and updates
Shopify and any separately enabled apps may maintain their own cookie information and privacy settings. The exact name, duration and purpose of a platform cookie can change over time. This policy does not invent a fixed inventory or claim that a tool is installed solely because Shopify can support it.
If the site adds a new optional service, its purpose and applicable consent requirements should be assessed before it is enabled. Relevant changes should be reflected in the website's privacy information and controls. The date above identifies this version of the policy.
12. Questions and privacy requests
If you have a question about a storage key described here, a privacy choice or a technology you observe on the site, contact us with the page, browser context and name of the item where possible. Avoid sending passwords, session tokens or other credentials as evidence.
The Privacy Policy explains the broader handling of inquiry and project information. Cookie preferences can be reopened in the footer without sending a message. For a personal information request or a concern requiring a response, use the inquiry form or the contact details below.
